Important VOC regulations changes!

Effective January 1, 2006, the following Olympic Pool Products will have restricted use:

Poxolon epoxy pool coating, Paralon 2 chlorinated rubber pool coating, Optilon synthetic rubber pool coating, Bonderite metal primer, and Olympic steel primers No. 219 and No. 220.

Restricted use products will carry the following warning symbol with the following information:

CAUTION: the sale, use, or application of a product marked with this symbol is prohibited in some jurisdictions, including all or parts of California, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maine (effective January 1, 2006), Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. Additional restrictions are under consideration or may already have been adopted in other states and localities not listed above. Before purchasing this product, please consult with supplier or your state or local air quality agency to determine whether the purchase, use, or application of this product is restricted in your area.

Olympic offers SR Opticoat, a low VOC synthetic rubber-base enamel. SR Opticoat is the same quality, synthetic rubber-base enamel as Optilon. For use in states or jurisdictions that restrict Paralon 2 and Optilon.
